Obituary for Dewey Ray Baker
Dewey Ray Baker, age 63, of Buckhorn, Kentucky, beloved husband of the late Edith Couch Baker, passed away, Monday, December 18, 2017 at the Hazard ARH in Hazard, Kentucky.

The son of the late Joe Baker Jr. and Evia (Stidham) Baker, he was born October 22, 1954.

Survivors include:
One daughter, Patricia Marie Baker of Hazard, Kentucky.
Two sons: Glenn Baker of Hazard, Kentucky; and Lovell Ray Baker of Booneville, Kentucky.
Six brothers: Alex (Doc) Baker, Paul Baker, Earl Stidham, Scott Baker, General Baker, and Harold Baker, all of Barwick, Kentucky.
Two sisters: Gemima Baker Jones and Hazel Ilene Baxter, both of Barwick, Kentucky.
Four grandchildren: Brandon Mullins, Cameron Baker, Robert Tyler Baker, and Kendra Marie Baker.

In addition to his wife, Edith Baker; and parents, Joe Jr. and Evia Baker, Dewey was preceded in death by one sister, Connie Baker; and two brothers, Billy Baker and Robert Baker.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Watts Funeral Home Chapel in Jackson, Kentucky at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 21, 2017 with Calvin Bowling officiating. Dewey will be laid to rest in the Government Cemetery at Saul, Kentucky. Friends may visit the funeral home after 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 20, 2017.
