Obituary for Darrell Taulbee

Darrell Taulbee, age 58 of Lexington, Kentucky - formerly of Breathitt County, passed away Saturday, January 16, 2021 at UK Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky.

Darrell was born on March 18, 1962 to the late Virgil and Junella Carpenter Taulbee. He was a Diesel Mechanic/Service Manager and served in the US Army.

He is survived by Leslie Taulbee of Lexington, Kentucky; two daughters, Kristen (Jeremy) Carter of Harrodsburg, Kentucky and Brenna Taulbee of Lexington, Kentucky; one brother, Ryan Taulbee of Jackson, Kentucky, and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Darrell was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Junella Carpenter Taulbee.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Watts Funeral Home in Jackson, Kentucky at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 with Pastor Bobby Hollon officiating. Darrell will be laid to rest in the Carpenter Cemetery at Frozen, Kentucky, with Jeremy Carter, Shawn Satterly, Ethan Satterly, Elliot Satterly, Bridger Taulbee, and Steven Taulbee serving as Pallbearers. Military Rites from VFW Post 11296 - Three Forks of Beattyville, Kentucky will be held at the cemetery. Friends may visit the funeral home at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 prior to funeral services beginning at 1:00 PM.
