Obituary for Clyde Gerall Prater
Clyde Gerall Prater, age 42, of Lost Creek, Kentucky passed away Sunday, May 22, 2016 at the U.K Healthcare in Lexington, Kentucky.
Gerall was born on August 31, 1973 to Dot Fugate Prater and the late Clyde Prater. He was a former truck driver and former member of the Watts Fire Department.
He is survived by his wife, Charlene Begley Prater of Lost Creek, Kentucky; his mother, Dot Fugate Prater of Lost Creek, Kentucky; step father, Jack Brewer of Lost Creek, Kentucky; two daughters, Gerrica (Trevor) Hays of Jackson, Kentucky; Jameka Prater of Lost Creek, Kentucky; two sons, Jared Prater of Lost Creek, Kentucky; Alex Wireman of Lost Creek, Kentucky; one granddaughter, Gabriella Hays of Jackson, Kentucky; one brother, Ervine (Tasha) Prater of Lost Creek, Kentucky; special friend -brother, Larry White; one sister, Elma Thorpe of Jackson, Kentucky; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at the Watts Funeral Home Chapel in Jackson, Kentucky at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 with Pastor Robbie Turner officiating. Visitation will be held at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 with additional services at 7:00 p.m. with Hiram Jent officiating. Gerall will be laid to rest in the Begley Family Cemetery in Athol, Kentucky with his family and friends serving as pallbearers.
