Obituary for Christine White Henson
Christine White Henson, age 78, of Lower River Caney Road, Lost Creek, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at her residence.
Christine was born on January 31, 1939 to the late Paul and Anna White. She was a homemaker.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, loving husband of 58 years, Dewey Henson of River Caney; one son, Dan C “Peck” Henson of River Caney; two daughters, Sherry (George) Mullins of River Caney; and Josephine “Tudy” Spencer of Jackson, Kentucky; one daughter-in-law, Anita Faye Henson of River Caney; six grandchildren, Amy (Shannon) Henson, James Henson, Heather (John) Robertson, Josh Mullins, Jordan Mullins and Emily, and Goley (Kristi) Spencer; five great grandchildren, Shayna White, Lydia White, Kaden White, Colson Spencer, and Parker Robertson; three sisters, Naomi (Wayne) Hudson of Macon, Georgia; Molly (Mike) Neace of River Caney, and Deborah White of River Caney; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, Paul and Anna White, Christine was preceded in death by daughter, Lena Gail Henson; sister, Betty Jean Young; brother, Bruce White, and half brother, Lonzo White.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Watts Funeral Home Chapel in Jackson, Kentucky at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 8, 2017 with Pastor Bobby Collins officiating. Christine will be laid to rest in the Henson Family Cemetery at River Caney. Friends may visit the funeral home after 6:00 p.m. on Friday, April 7, 2017.
