Obituary for Charles H. Moore
Charles H. Moore, age 82, of Beattyville, Kentucky - formerly of Breathitt County, passed away Sunday, March 17, 2019 at his residence.
Charles was born on February 15, 1937 to the late Everett and Mae Fields Moore. He was a retired minister, retired plumber, and a member of Full Gospel Church at Whick, Kentucky.
He is survived by two sons: Charles Ray (Tammy) Moore of Beattyville, Kentucky; and James David Moore (Lisa Hall) of Beattyville, Kentucky; one daughter: Jeanna Gayle Moore Griffith (Rhett Griffith); eight grandchildren: Chris Moore, Charles Clinton Moore, James Tyler Moore, David Keith Moore, Kelli Moore, Jessie Griffith, Cassidy Hope Griffith, and Lucinda Faith Moore; three great grandchildren: MacKenzee Elizabeth Moore, Adele Lynn Moore, and Paisley Leann Moore; one brother: James Edward Moore of Jackson, Kentucky; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents Everett and Mae Moore; Charles was preceded in death by his wife Stella Salyers Moore.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Watts Funeral Home Chapel in Jackson, Kentucky at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 with Reverend Raymond and Gerald Moore officiating. Charles will be laid to rest in the Jackson Cemetery at Jackson, Kentucky with Charles Clinton Moore, James Tyler Moore, Aaron Carter, Dalton Fox, and other family and friends serving as pallbearers. Friends may visit the funeral home at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 with special singing at 7:00 PM.
