Obituary for Charles Edwin “Buddy” Price Jr.
Charles Edwin “Buddy” Price Jr., age 74, of Richmond, Kentucky formerly of Breathitt County passed away Tuesday June 28, 2022 at UK Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky.
Buddy was born on September 22, 1947 to the late Charles E. Price Sr. And Wanda Lee Thompson Price. Buddy served the Christian Church in many communities as Sunday School Teacher and Board Member as well as holding many different offices in the Church. He was also known in many different career roles such as wholesale worker, bank teller, restaurant owner, trophy and award maker, grocery store owner and coach, to name a few. However, no other role was as notable as his work with Kentucky Farm Bureau where he served as Agency Manager in Madison and Breathitt Counties from 1974-2011. After his retirement, he returned to KFB to serve as a consultant for several years.
Buddy is survived by his Beloved Wife; Katrina Wiseman Price of Richmond, Kentucky, Son; Charles E. “Chuck” Price III wife Rhea, Daughter; Jacqueline Kelly Edmonds husband Craig, Grandsons; Charles E. “Beau” Price IV, John Thomas Clayton Price, Cole Alexander Price, Samuel Anthony Edmonds, Hayden Anderson Edmonds, Brother; Glenn(Susan) Price, One Nephew, and Two Nieces.
Buddy was preceded in death by his Parents; Charles Edwin Price Sr. And Wanda Lee Thompson Price.
Funeral Services for Charles Edwin “Buddy” Price Jr. will be held on Friday July 1, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at Providence Pentecostal Church in Jackson, Kentucky with Rev. Marty Frazer officiating. Buddy will be laid to rest in The Haddix Cemetery Inc. in Haddix, Kentucky with Rick Curnutte, David Garrett, Devon Price, Bryan Duke, John Young V, Van Hutson, Blake Easter, Artic Gross serving as Pallbearers, and James Price, Thomas Price, Ron Price, Paul Hale, David Wiseman, John Wiseman, John Young IV, Larry Turner, Holden Williams, and Jim Wiggins serving as Honorary Pallbearers. Visitation will be held at The Providence Pentecostal Church in Jackson, Kentucky on Thursday June 30, 2022 from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.
