Obituary for Betty White Henson
Betty White Henson, age 73, of White Valley Lane, Hazard, Kentucky, beloved wife of the late Willie Winston Henson, passed away Sunday, May 28, 2017 at her residence.
Betty was born on December 15, 1943 to Matha (Bush) White and the late Gran White. She was a retired dietary supervisor and a member of Free Pentecostal Church.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, mother, Matha Bush White of Hazard, Kentucky; one daughter, Willie Doiss (Joseph Michael) Beasley of Brownsville, Kentucky; four sisters, Francis (Willie) Henson, Rhonda White, Rita White and Teresa White, all of Hazard, Kentucky; two brothers, Phillip (Wanda) White of Hazard, Kentucky; and Donnie (Doris) White of Ohio; and many other loving relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband, Willie Winston Henson and father, Gran White, Betty was preceded in death by three sisters, Ranie Jewell White, Anita Johnson, and Deborah Jean White; one brother, Danny Dale White.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Watts Funeral Home Chapel at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 with Willie Henson and Ryan White officiating. Betty will be laid to rest in the White Valley Cemetery at Hazard, Kentucky. Friends may visit the funeral home after 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 30, 2017.
