Obituary for Bertha Hensley Noble

Bertha Hensley Noble, age 77, of Jackson, Kentucky, passed away, Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at the Kentucky River Medical Center in Jackson, Kentucky.

Bertha attended Athol Community Church and was a former Post Master and a self-employed grocery store owner. The daughter of the late Seldon Hensley and Eva (Coomer) Hensley, she was born April 18, 1940.

Survivors include:
Husband, Eddie Noble of Jackson, Kentucky.
Two sons: Earnest Ray (Mandy) Bryant of Jackson, Kentucky; and Fred (Carolyn) Bryant of Jackson, Kentucky.
Two daughters: Wilma (Larry) Spicer of Jackson, Kentucky; and Darlene (Denver) McKnight of Jackson, Kentucky.
One sister, Bonnie Noble of Jackson, Kentucky.
Seven grandchildren: Anthony Bryant, Amy Bailey, Natasha Allen, Jason Spicer, Samantha Bryant, Brittany Centers, and Austin Bryant.
Eight great grandsons, and many other loving relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, Seldon and Eva Hensley, Bertha was preceded in death by three sisters: Irene Vanveren, Corene Stamper, and Betty Morgan; one brother, Seldon Hensley Jr.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Watts Funeral Home Chapel in Jackson, Kentucky at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 22, 2017 with Emmitt Campbell officiating. Bertha will be laid to rest in the Eddie and Bertha Noble Cemetery at Oakdale, Kentucky with her grandsons serving as pallbearers. Friends may visit the funeral home after 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 21, 2017. Additional services at 7:00 p.m.
