Obituary for Bert Brown Haddix
Bert Brown Haddix age 88 of Lost Creek, KY passed away Friday, December 12, 2014 at his residence. He was the husband of Helen Combs Haddix. Bert was born on November 03, 1926 to the Late Arthur and Maude Noble Haddix. He was a printer of Dayton Daily News, owner of Haddix Excavation, member of VFW, US Army, and First Church of God in Riverside, Ohio. He is survived by his wife, Helen Combs Haddix of Lost Creek, KY; five children: Bert D. Haddix of San Francisco; James E. (Carol) Haddix of Colorado; Patricia M. Teegarden of Nevada; Sheila C. (Bruce) Pittman of Ohio; Michelle D. (Donald) Earnest of Ohio; two stepchildren: Jim (Tracey) Combs of Jackson, KY; Pam Blancett of Mallie, KY; four step Grandchildren; five Grandchildren; nine Great Grandchildren; one brother, Joe (Eliza) Haddix of Fairborn, Ohio; one sister, Dove (Roy) Margenau of Grass Lake, Michigan; host of nieces and nephews also survive. He is preceded in death by parents, Arthur and Maude Haddix; brothers: Vergil Haddix, Ross Haddix, and Phillip Haddix; sisters: Blanche Landrum, Selena Carnahan, and Edith Depew; first wife, Shirley Marie Haddix; and two Great Granddaughters.
