B G Lovins, age 68, of Jackson, Kentucky, beloved husband of the late Kathleen Gross Lovins passed away Monday, June 6, 2016 at his residence.
B G was born on September 11, 1947, a son of the late Shade and Nokie (McIntosh) Lovins. He was a former coal miner employee of Falcon Coal and Arch on the North Fork.
He is survived by one daughter, Delphia Lovins (John Lewis Back) of Jackson, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Braylan John B G Back of Jackson, Kentucky; Emily Kate Back of Jackson, Kentucky; two sisters, Imogene Smith of Texas; Rose Cline Johnson (Sam) of Texas; four brothers, Mitchell Lovins of Oneida, Kentucky; Everett (Sheila) Lovins of Menifee County; Arlie Lovins of Rowdy, Kentucky; Shade Lovins Jr. of Kentucky; and a host of other relatives and friends.
B G was preceded in death by his beloved wife; his parents; and three brothers, Garret Lovins, Daniel Lovins, and Bryan Lovins; one sister, Gladys Lovins.
Funeral services for B G will be held at the Watts Funeral Home Chapel in Jackson, Kentucky at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 10, 2016 with Pastor Buddy Johnson officiating. Burial will follow the service in the James Gross Cemetery of War Creek, Kentucky with pallbearers being, Arlie Tom Lovins, Lee Daniel Campbell, Phillip Lovins, Delbert Campbell, Raymond Lovins, and Lee Campbell Jr. Visitation will be held at the funeral home at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 9, 2016.
