Arzella Williams Howard - RN, MSN, age 64, of Jackson, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, May 17, 2024, at Norton Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born on January 28, 1960 to the late Reed Williams and Pearl Burton Williams.
She is survived by her daughter, Sydney Howard of Jackson, Kentucky, grandson, Clay Thompson of Jackson, Kentucky, husband, Jeffrey Howard of Jackson, Kentucky, step-son, Jeremy Howard, brother, Lee (Susie) Williams, her special niece, Sara Pennington, a host of nieces, nephews, and countless friends and students.
In addition to her beloved parents, Arzella was preceded in death by her siblings and nephew.
Arzella was passionate about being a helper to those she loved and the community. Arzella served over forty years as a nurse in different capacities and as a nursing instructor. She has touched countless lives through her work and the work of others.
She was an exceptional Gigi to her grandson and a champion for her daughter. She loved to read, the ocean, and was a friend to animals. She will be so missed by those who knew her and loved her.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at 5:00 PM at the Watts Funeral Home Chapel in Jackson, Kentucky.
