Obituary for Anne Napier Neace
Anne Napier Neace, age 84, of Vancleve, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Greg and Noreen Hospice Care in Hazard, Kentucky.
Anne was born on March 03, 1934 to the late Edward and Elva Strong Napier. She was the beloved wife of the late Pryce Short Neace and was a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons: Charles Neace of Jackson, Kentucky; and Darrell (Clara Lee) Neace of Vancleve, Kentucky; one sister: Betty Welch of Muncie, Indiana; three grandchildren: Kimberly Beth Howard of Jackson, Kentucky; Kelli Janel Neace of Jackson, Kentucky; and Andrew Neace of Vancleve, Kentucky; four great grandchildren: Kyrah J. Howard, Braeden Noble, Brantley Rudd, and Jax Kaiden Moore; and many other loving relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband, Pryce Short Neace and parents, Edward and Elva Napier, Anne was preceded in death by one son, Dwayne Lynn Neace; three sisters: Dora Thompson, Virginia Gobel, and Arminta Fraley; eight brothers: Willie Napier, Charlie Napier, Green Napier, Henry Napier, Hiram Napier, Earl Napier, Brown Napier, and Jimmy Napier.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Watts Funeral Home Chapel in Jackson, Kentucky at 12:00 PM on Saturday, July 21, 2018 with Pastor Larry Collins officiating. Anne will be laid to rest in the Neace Cemetery - Quicksand Road, in Jackson, Kentucky. Friends may visit the funeral home after 6:00 PM on Friday, July 20, 2018.
