Obituary for Oscar Combs
Oscar Combs, age 62, of Lost Creek, Kentucky, beloved husband of the late Wayna Combs, passed away, Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at his residence.
Oscar was born on March 26, 1956 to the late Alonzo and Canzala (Fugate) Combs. He was a retired coal miner.
He is survived by two sons: Todd (May Gross) Combs, and Kevin Combs, both of Lost Creek, Kentucky; one brother, Matthew (Pooh) Combs of Ned, Kentucky; six grandchildren: Nikki Combs, Madison Combs, Landon Combs, Brianna Combs, K. J. Combs, and Presley Combs; a host of nieces, and nephews; and many other loving relatives, and friends.
In addition to his wife, Wayna Combs; and parents, Alonzo and Canzala Combs, Oscar was preceded in death by one son, Kyle Combs; one sister, Eva Neace; and two brothers: Lloyd Combs, and Whick Combs.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Watts Funeral Home Chapel in Jackson, Kentucky at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 12, 2018 with Bobby Collins officiating. Oscar will be laid to rest in the Combs-Neace Cemetery at Ned, Kentucky. Friends may visit the funeral home after 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 11, 2018.
