Obituary for Nadine Taulbee Bailey
Nadine Taulbee Bailey, age 89, of Vancleve, Kentucky, passed away, Thursday, August 30, 2018 at the Nim Henson Geriatric Center in Jackson, Kentucky.
Nadine was born on June 26, 1929 to the late Willie and Edna (Lykins) Taulbee. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter, Brenda Pelfrey of Dayton, Ohio; three sons: Jerry (Beverly) Taulbee of Georgetown, Kentucky; Linville (Charlene) Spencer of Vancleve, Kentucky; and Leonard (Tamara) Spencer of Middletown, Ohio; four sisters: Irene Hollon Powers of Ohio; Fern Rosener of Missouri; Viola Vaughn of South Carolina; and Carmie (Jay) Watts of Campton, Kentucky; nine grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; two stepchildren: Brenda (Larry) Neeley, and Doug Bailey, both of Campton, Kentucky; a host of nieces, and nephews, and many other loving relatives, and friends.
In addition to her parents, Willie and Edna Taulbee, Nadine was preceded in death by husbands: Everett Spencer, and Chester Bailey Jr.; one daughter, Carol Waterson; one granddaughter, Dena Pelfrey House; three brothers: Carl Taulbee, Lang Taulbee, and Stanley Taulbee; two sisters: Ruby Taulbee, and Ruth Hensley.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Watts Funeral Home Chapel in Jackson, Kentucky at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 3, 2018 with Pastor Gary Bellamy officiating. Nadine will be laid to rest in the Field Branch Cemetery at Lower Taulbee Fork. Friends may visit the funeral home after 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 2, 2018.
