Obituary for Juanita Pelfrey Carpenter
Juanita Pelfrey Carpenter, age 78, of Vancleve, Kentucky, beloved wife of the late Paul Carpenter, passed away Friday, April 27, 2018 at her residence.
Juanita was born on September 06, 1939 to the late Daniel Boone and Eva Adams Pelfrey. She was a retired Instructional Assistant with Breathitt County School.
She is survived by two brothers: Rex Pelfrey of Texas and Gene (Faye) Pelfrey of Jackson, Kentucky; one sister: Bonnie (Johnny) Lamb of Ohio; a host of nieces, nephews, and many other loving relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband, Paul Carpenter and parents Daniel Boone and Eva Pelfrey, Juanita was preceded in death by her brothers JB Pelfrey, Jack Pelfrey, Gary Pelfrey, Ted Pelfrey, EC Pelfrey, Russell Pelfrey, Chester Fraiser, and Junior Fraiser and sisters Sandy Pelfrey Parsons, Daisy Pelfrey Turner, Mary Sue Pelfrey, and Ruth Ann Pelfrey Agee.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Watts Funeral Home Chapel in Jackson, Kentucky at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 with Pastor John Bunn officiating. Juanita will be laid to rest in the Pelfrey Cemetery at Vancleve, Kentucky with Brandon Pelfrey, Darren Pelfrey, Dennis Edward Carpenter, Travis Kidd, Roy Kidd, Ryan Taulbee, Richard Manns, and Freddy Pelfrey serving as pallbearers. Friends may visit the funeral home after 5:00 p.m. on Monday, April 30, 2018
