Obituary for Hendrix Anderson
Hendrix Anderson, age 74, of Jackson, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, April 26, 2018 at his residence.
Hendrix was born on March 11, 1944 to the late Redwine and Sallie Belle (Gross) Anderson. He was self-employed at Parkway Chevron of Campton, Kentucky and attended Jackson Church of God.
He is survived by his wife, Edna Campbell Anderson of Jackson, Kentucky; one daughter, Katrina Anderson Bostron and husband, Don Bostron of Jackson, Kentucky; two grandsons: Brady Salisbury of Richmond, Kentucky; and Isaac Bostron of Jackson, Kentucky; one sister, Glenna (Beecher) Herald of Lexington, Kentucky; sister-in-laws: Joyce Anderson, Connie (Gordon) Edmonds, and Gail Noble - special caregiver; brother-in-law, Lloyd Jr. (Ida Mae) Campbell; a host of nieces, nephews; and many other loving relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, Redwine and Sallie Belle Anderson, Hendrix was preceded in death by brothers: Thomas Anderson, and Franklin Anderson; sisters: Wilma Jean Johnson, and Lexene Hicks.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Watts Funeral Home Chapel in Jackson, Kentucky at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 29, 2018 with Pastor Harry Kemper officiating. Hendrix will be laid to rest in the Haddix Cemetery INC. at Haddix, Kentucky with pallbearers being: Don Bostron, Brady Salisbury, Isaac Bostron, Lloyd Campbell Jr., Gordon Edmonds, and Derrick Hamilton. Friends may visit the funeral home after 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 28, 2018.
