Obituary for Harold Watkins
Harold Watkins, age 79, of Jackson, Kentucky, beloved husband of the late Bethel Hensley Watkins, passed away, Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at Caldwell Medical Center in Princeton, Kentucky.
Harold was born on January 15, 1939 to the late Matt and Laura (Harris) Watkins. He was a retired construction worker.
He is survived by three sons: Dallas (Robin) Watkins of North Carolina; Albert (Sudy) Watkins of Jackson, Kentucky; and Steve (Gina) Watkins of North Carolina; one daughter, Alice (Chuck) McDiarmid of Michigan; four sisters: Gloria (Tom) Caudill of Indiana; Linda (Steve) Poe of Indiana; Mary (Paul) Johnson of Athol, Kentucky; and Nada Taylor of Tennessee; nine grandchildren: Tanya (Chad) Miller, Chuck (Jamie) McDiarmid, Adam Watkins, Amy Watkins, Sage Watkins, Tyler Watkins, Dallas Watkins, Aden Watkins, and Cathy Watkins; and many other loving relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Watts Funeral Home Chapel in Jackson, Kentucky at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 7, 2018 with Mike Spencer officiating. Harold will be laid to rest in the Hensley Angel Cemetery at Athol, Kentucky. Friends may visit the funeral home after 6:00 p.m. on Friday, July 6, 2018.
