Obituary for Donnie D. Jett Sr.
Donnie D. Jett Sr., age 72, of Jackson, Kentucky, passed away Friday, July 20, 2018 at his residence.
Donnie was born on February 5, 1946 to the late Seldon and Carmel (Little) Jett. He was a retired farmer.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Carless Ann Jett of Jackson, Kentucky; two daughters: Kim (Scott) Brandenburg of Irvine, Kentucky; and April (Michael) Gayheart of Campton, Kentucky; three sons: Donnie (Rhonda) Jett of Winchester, Kentucky; Michael (Trish) Jett, and Jeffrey (Lavonne) Jett, both of Mt. Vernon, Kentucky; six grandchildren: Chasity Charles, Jacob Sizemore, Kayla Jett, Kelsey Jett, Logan Jett, and Johnathan Gayheart; one great-grandchild, Madeline Sophie Charles; two brothers: Benny (Yvonne) Jett, and Kenny (Nancy) Jett, both of Frankfort, Kentucky; one sister, Connie (James) Burns of Frankfort, Kentucky; and a host of other loving relatives, and friends.
In addition to his parents, Seldon and Carmel Jett, Donnie was preceded in death by one sister, Debbie Jett.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Watts Funeral Home Chapel in Jackson, Kentucky at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, July 23, 2018 with Emmitt Campbell officiating. Donnie will be laid to rest in the Jett Cemetery at Oakdale, Kentucky. Friends may visit the funeral home after 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 22, 2018. Additional services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m.
