Obituary for Betty Lois Bellamy
Betty Lois Bellamy, age 65, of Inkster, Michigan, formerly of Breathitt County, passed away Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Garden City Hospital in Garden City, Michigan.
Betty was born on January 21, 1953 to Haney (Norman) Johnson and the late Leonard Johnson. She was a former homemaker and a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Bellamy of Michigan; one son, Brad (Amy) Bellamy of Michigan; mother, Haney Johnson of Jackson, Kentucky; one sister, Elizabeth (Willis) Warren of Somerset, Kentucky; three brothers: Carl Edwards (Eudell) Johnson of Westland Michigan; Leonard Jr. (Pam) Johnson of Perry, Georgia; and David Wayne Johnson of Jackson, Kentucky; a host of nieces and nephews; and many other loving relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Watts Funeral Home Chapel in Jackson, Kentucky at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 with Pastor Gary Bellamy officiating. Betty will be laid to rest in the Haddix Cemetery, INC. at Haddix, Kentucky. Friends may visit the funeral home after 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 22, 2018.
